Cold feet, or a ring around your ankle
Thin socks don't do much inside boots or on a cold tile floor, and the ones that are warm enough usually grip the ankle hard or creep down under your heel by noon.
- Plush terry loops inside hold warm air against the whole foot
- A wide ribbed cuff holds the sock up instead of squeezing the ankle
- The smooth outer knit slides into boots, clogs and slippers

What makes them warm, and what holds them up
Five pairs built around two things: a thick terry inside and a cuff that doesn't dig in.
Plush terry interior
The inside is a dense towel-like loop pile. It cushions underfoot and holds warm air against the foot in boots, clogs or slippers.
Wide ribbed cuff
A deep vertical rib about 2-3 inches tall sits at the ankle. It holds the sock up with a relaxed slouch instead of a tight elastic band.
Smooth outer knit
The outside is a flat, dense plain knit, so the sock slides into boots and clogs without bunching at the instep.
Five neutral colors
One pair each in cream, camel, taupe, espresso and black, so there's a warm pair that works with whatever you're already wearing.
Two ways to wear
Pull the cuff up under leggings and jeans, or push it down over them for the slouched look. Same sock, two outfits.
What it doesn't do
These aren't compression socks and they're not a medical or circulation device. There's no grip sole, no waterproofing, and they're not knee-high.
Fits into a normal cold morning
Three everyday moments with the same five-pair set.

Who these socks are for
Great for
- Your feet stay cold in boots or on hard floors
- Regular socks leave a tight mark around your ankle
- You layer socks over leggings or under jeans
- You want one set that covers a whole week
Not the right pick if
- You need compression or a medical circulation sock
- You want grip dots for stairs or hard floors
- You want knee-high socks or to pick single colors

A cuff that holds without squeezing
Turn the cuff back and you can see both halves of the design at once.
- Deep vertical rib, about 2-3 inches tall, slouches instead of gripping
- Dense terry loop pile covers the inside of the foot and leg
- Visibly thick padded sole and toe, with no seam branding or heel tab

Getting the fit and the slouch right
A few things that make the first few wears go better.
Size by your range
Pick US 5-8 or US 8.5-12. A thick sock in the smaller range will feel tight across the instep.
Smooth before the boot
Flatten the foot of the sock and the toe seam first, then slide into the boot so nothing bunches at the instep.
Set the cuff last
Pull the rib up under leggings or jeans, or push it down once for a slouch that stays put.

Five pairs, one in each color
- 1 pair slouch socks - Cream
- 1 pair slouch socks - Camel
- 1 pair slouch socks - Taupe
- 1 pair slouch socks - Espresso
- 1 pair slouch socks - Black

What people ask most
Which size should I order?
There are two women's ranges: US 5-8 and US 8.5-12. Both include the same five-pair assortment. If you're between ranges, the larger one leaves more room for the thick terry inside.
Will they fit inside my boots?
They're thick, but the outside is a smooth, flat knit, so they slide into boots, clogs and slippers. If your boots already fit snugly with thick socks, expect a close fit.
Are they wool or cashmere?
We can't say. The supplier doesn't publish the fiber content, so we won't claim wool, merino or cashmere. The knit has a soft, lightly heathered, wool-like surface texture.
How do I wash them?
Follow the care label sewn into the socks. As a safe default for thick knits: cold gentle cycle with like colors, no bleach, dry low or flat to protect the terry loops.
What comes in the set?
Five pairs, one in each color: cream, camel, taupe, espresso and black. That's the full set, in whichever size range you choose.
Can I choose the colors?
No. Every set is the same five-color assortment, so colors can't be picked individually or swapped for extras of one shade.
